Interesting cloudscapes in Greenford on the 5th. Pictures taken from my desk in the office facing roughly SW. | Uh oh here we go again. This is the longest cold snap now for almost 30 years! On the 6th it snowed all day, quite heavy at times. 5-10cm here but further west out of town a foot or more fell in places. My motorbike was marooned in the garage for almost 2 weeks as it was too icy to ride safely. But it was so pretty though! Views from my bedroom window as snow built up rapidly through the day. |

The next day I made it to work. Looking out the office window at sunrise. The snow did reveal most interestingly loads of fox tracks. Not normally seen this evidence shows how numerous they are. | Frozen 'Main Lagoon' pond at Paradise Fields at lunchtime. Coots and a heron congregating around an ice hole. | Arty shot of a snow capped teasel stem. |
